Welsh born artist  Hanneke van Ryswyk graduated in 2006 and has since then been selected for group exhibitions in Dublin, London and Melbourne.
Hanneke have held three Irish individual exhibitions since her move to Ireland in 2011.  Throughout her work she explores the ongoing changes in the realms of land and sea.
How, over billions of years, erosion, elements,together with wear created from animal and human activities interact to form patterns and structures in the country when viewed from above. During 2012 Hanneke was awarded a residency at Cill Rialaig – artist’s retreat, and was invited by  Olivier Cornet Gallery to exhibit at VUE National Contemporary Art Fair in RHA, Dublin.Her paintings ‘Dessert Island “and “Arch Night” was bought by Office of Public Works, Irland.Hannikas homepage.
