Takuji Kogo


Takuji Kogo Japan. Takuji KOGO is a visual artist and a curator who organizes *CANDYFACTORY PROJECTS, a moving platform for collaborative art projects established in 1998 out of a former candy factory in Yokohama, Japan and since 2001 continuously relocating its office into different institutions, organizing curatorial projects, exhibitions and publications.

Since 2007 to 2016 *Candy Factory Projects hosted the Kitakyushu Biennial in collaboration with the Art Institute of Kitakyushu.


Takuji Kogo has exhibited widely internationally and presented his work at amongst other places the NBK in Berlin, the New Museum NY, MOMA, Media City Seoul, the Walker Art Centre Minneapolis, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Miami, the Yokohama Triennale, Nam June Paik Art Centre Seoul, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, the Aichi Triennial in Nagoya, the Kyiv Biennial, the former Rooseum in Malmö, Kalmar konstmuseum and Färgfabriken in Stockholm.
