Tanya O’Keeffe

O’ Keeffe’s work explores the crossovers between healing and art. Sensation and the transformative power of touch as well as patterns of expansion and contraction in the body are all ideas that shape her practice. She recently undertook a MFA in NCAD where her work changed from being sculpturally based to performative, both live and to camera.O’Keeffe has exhibited in a number of group shows at The Crawford Art Gallery, Basic Space, Dublin and TACTIC, Cork, among others. Her most recent solo performance was at FIX13 Live Art Biennial held at the Catalyst Arts Gallery in Belfast. She is also a member of pre form, a group of five artists who make live improvised collaborative art. pre form were awarded Dublin City Council’s Incubation Space Award in 2013 and have to date performed in arts centres such as Rua Red and The LAB Gallery in Dublin.
