Elis works och live in Stockholm, Sweden, and work with photography and it’s usually projects that extend over several years. “Projecst are always documentary but I assume alot from my own emotional life. It’s not always only a way for me to express myself but also a form of self-therapy and self-portaits. A common thread in my pictures is the beauty of the vulnerable. Elis combines freelance work with doing exhibitions and book projects and he’s been working as a freelance photographer since 2007. Elis also worked as a photographer and editor at one of Swedens largest newspaper – Daily news. Han won the price of the jury at the photo festival in Montpellier 2009. During that same year he was also nominated for the Grand Prix during the photofesitval in Lodz. Both times for his exhibition “Tonight”.
