Born 1981 in Washington DC. Lives and works in Istanbul, Turkey.
 
She earned her MFA in 2011 from the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, Boston and her BFA in 2003 from the School of Visual Arts, New York City. Selected solo shows include Flow Through, ARTER, Istanbul  (2016), Self-Titled, Nesrin Esirtgen Collection, Istanbul (2014),  Melting North, Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, MA (2013). Two-person and group exhibitions include Intimate Horizons, Disjecta Contemporary Art Center, Portland OR (2014), the 2013 Biennial, Decordova Museum and Sculpture Garden, Lincoln, MA. She has been artist in residence at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts (2013), the Arctic Circle (2015) and in 2017 with the Clipperton Project in Antarctica.
